Cave Defender Devlog – Week of July 1, 2019
Since January 1st of 2018, I’ve been keeping a log of my daily work on Cave Defender. I’m sharing this log on a weekly basis so you can find out how development is going with the game. In the last week I:
- Posted screenshot saturday.
- Got the test shards moving the way I was thinking. Was too tired the last few nights to sort out some basic math :).
- Experimented with a large side text display as a means of communicating dialog to the player.
- Started implementing a test for ‘crystal shards’ spawning from destroyed debris, to be collected by the player. Game design work on upgrade paths for the defenses.
